"Más Calladita es Más Bonita: Prettier Women are Quieter" is a project emulating feelings of frustration and sorrow for the expectations placed on women in today's society.
Creative directed and styled by Brianna Ramirez, she writes:
"Women are told everyday how to act, how to dress, who to be; the quieter the prettier. I as a woman am loud, outspoken, and larger than life. I wanted this photoshoot to convey the mask of anger and sadness we as women are not allowed to display. As a woman, I will not "behave" - I get to choose who I am."
This project is in collaboration with creative director and stylist, Brianna Ramirez, and photographer Kat Zuis.
